Making a polyhedron

We have been learning how to make polyhedrons. I used a net to fold this Great Stellated Dodecahedron! It was difficult to glue down the last bits. This polyhedron is made out of lots of triangles. Triangles are 2D. Three trianges made a pyramid.

once upon a time there was ant trying to pick up the wood and or he did not  live or he died but he had power to pick it

Once upon a time there was a little kitten stuck on a rock and the elephant was trying to save the kitten with its trunk and the kitten was about to die and drown to death but lucky the elephant save the little kitten with its trunk cause that wood die .and my name is gabriel and this is my dangerous writing and its about a elephant and a little kitten and the elephant try to save a little kitten.

DIMC problem 2,week 2

today we worked in  our DIMIC groups to solve this problem . when you find a fraction of a number , the first thing you need to do is to divide the  number by the denominator. First we 

First we worked  out that 105 divide by 7 was 15.Most of us derw 7 circles , we counted in

10s 7 times and then in 5s and that made 105 , which left 15 in each group.

The next step is to take the number 15, and times it by the numerator , which was 4. 15 x 4 = 60.

The answer is 60

60 mussels could be taken by the fisherman-4/7 of 105 is 60 mussel

today on maths me and my group  counted how many octopus legs were their we times and dis is my maths work.

Something in the water

This term we are learning about species of fish and sharks. Some fish can hid in their shell and the coolest fish is a mandarin!

today we did some maths it was about metres and centimetres we were doing awesome with it i got help little from our teachers and we had fun after that and this was the best day ever.

leap maths

today we did some maths and it was about leap year and the answer was 122

fractions

Today we used a piece of string to show where different fractions would be put in a line. I found it easy to know where a half was, but it was more difficult to know where 2/3 and 3/5 was.
